Object Command

An Object Command is an action which can be performed on a specific type of object.

Remarks

Object Commands can be executed manually by users, or automatically during a Batch Process using the Execute activity.

Name Description
 Batch - Clone To Production Clones the batch into production, and launches it into a Batch Process.
 Batch - Clone To Test Clones this production batch to the 'Production Clones' folder of the test branch.
 Batch - Combine Combine the selected batches into a single batch.
 Batch - Pause Pause processing on the batch.
 Batch - Process Process the batch through the current step.
 Batch - Reset Move the batch to a different Batch Process Step, optionally resetting tasks for folders or pages which have already been processed.
 Batch - Resume Resume processing on the batch.
 Batch - Update Process Updates or changes the Batch Process associated with this batch.
 Batch Folder - Assign Content Type Assigns a Content Type to the currently selected folder.
 Batch Folder - Assign Document Type Assigns a Document Type to the currently selected folder.
 Batch Folder - Go To Next Invalid Document Load the next invalid document.
 Batch Folder - Move Next Go to the next document.
 Batch Folder - Move Previous Go to the previous document.
 Batch Folder - New Folder Adds a new Batch Folder.
 Batch Folder - Remove Native Version Deletes the locally-stored native file version from this folder object.
 Batch Folder - Reprocess Reprocess documents through extraction.
 Batch Folder - Train Document Assign a Document Type for the selected document and train the Content Model with its features.
 Batch Folder - Unclassify Removes the selected folder and inserts its contents into the parent at the same position the folder was located.
 Batch Object - Append to Previous Append the selected object(s) to the previous folder.
 Batch Object - Clear Flag Clears any existing flags on selected items.
 Batch Object - Flag Item Marks the selected items as flagged.
 Batch Object - Go To Next Issue Sets the selection to the next loose page or un-classified Batch Folder.
 Batch Object - Goto Next Flagged Item Moves the focused item to the first flagged page of the batch (if any).
 Batch Object - Remove PDF Version Deletes the Grooper-generated PDF version from this item.
 Batch Page - Add Selection to New Folder Creates a new folder and moves all the selected Batch Pages inside it.
 Batch Page - Goto Next Unmarked Moves to the next unmarked (un-reviewed) page in the batch.
 Batch Page - Mark As Reviewed Marks the selected page as reviewed.
 Batch Page - Split Document Splits a folder or document at the currently selected page, optionally assigning a content type to the new document.
 Batch Page - Split Folder Splits the content of the parent folder at the currently selected node, moving all items from the selected node to the end of the folder into a new folder.
 Batch Page - Unmark Removes the review mark from the selected page.
 CMIS Connection - Reset Resets the connection for all child repositories.
 CMIS Content Type - Generate Local Type Generates a Grooper content type from the selected CMIS content type.
 CMIS Content Type - Remove Local Type Deletes the local Content Type associated with the selected CMIS Content Type, and clears all properties referencing the local type.
 CMIS Content Type - Update Local Type Removes any Export and Import field mappings that reference Cmis properties that no longer exist.
 CMIS Document Link - Delete CMIS Document Deletes the CMIS document associated with the link and removes the link.
 CMIS Document Link - Load Loads the properties and/or content stream of the linked CMIS document and saves it to the Grooper document.
 CMIS Document Link - Save Version Adds a new version of the linked CMIS document from the content of the Grooper document.
 CMIS Document Link - Update Updates the properties and/or content stream of the linked CMIS document with the content of the Grooper document.
 CMIS Folder Link - Delete Deletes the CMIS folder associated with the link and removes the link.
 CMIS Folder Link - Load Children Loads the children or descendants of a linked CMIS Folder.
 CMIS Folder Link - Load Pages Loads all image-based children as Batch Page objects.
 CMIS Folder Link - Load Properties Reads properties from the CMIS document and applies them to the Grooper document.
 CMIS Folder Link - Save Properties Writes the Grooper document properties to the CMIS document.
 CMIS Repository - Reset Clears all caches and resets the connection.
 Content Link - Remove Link Removes the link between this object and the external content it is currently linked to.
 Content Type - Create Data Model Creates a new data model object on this content type.
 Content Type - Create Local Resources Folder Creates a new Local Resources Folder on this content type.
 Content Type - Generate Control Sheets Creates a new Grooper Control Sheet for this content type.
 Content Type - Purge Training Purges all classification training and samples from this item and all items below it.
 Content Type - Rebuild Training Rebuilds classification training for this item and all items below it.
 Data Connection - Create Database Creates a new database on the database server.
 Data Connection - Create Table Generates a new database table from a Grooper Content Type.

 PDF Document - Burst Generates a new Batch Folder for each PDF page in a document's PDF version. The new single page PDF documents are created as children of the current Batch Folder. Any existing child Batch Folders will be deleted.
 SFTP Link - Delete File Deletes the linked file from the SSH/SFTP file server.
 SFTP Link - Load Content Loads the linked file and stores it as the native document version.

 Batch Folder - Combine Loose Pages Combines each range of contiguous loose pages into a new document, and attempts to classify each.

Merge Pages
 Batch Page - Merge All Pages Inserts the current range of contiguous batch pages that includes the currently selected batch page into a new folder, optionally classified as a content type.
 Batch Page - Merge Previous Pages Combines the selected and previous batch pages into a new folder, optionally classified as a content type.
 Batch Page - Merge Selected Pages Inserts the selected batch pages into a new folder, optionally classified as a content type.
Scan
 Batch Folder - Append Starts the scanning process, appending newly-scanned pages to the end of the currently selected folder.
 Batch Object - Insert Starts the scanning process, inserting new pages immediately before or after the current selection.
 Batch Object - Scan Starts the scanning process, appending newly-scanned pages to the end of the batch.
 Batch Page - Replace Replace the currently selected pages with the result of a scan operation.
Send To
 Batch Object - File System Exports the selected folders or documents to a file system directory.
 Batch Object - Mail Recipient Launches the default mail client, creating an email with the selected folders or documents attached.
 Batch Object - Printer Prints the selected items to a printer device.
 Batch Object - Test Batch Appends a copy of the selected items to a test batch.
