A CMIS Binding provides connectivity to an external storage platform over CMIS.
Grooper's CMIS+ infrastructure provides connectivity to traditional CMIS servers, file systems, SFTP servers, mail servers, plus a variety of on-premises and cloud-based content storage platforms. For each of these distinct platforms, a CMIS Binding defines the settings and logic required for document interchange.
CMIS Bindings are used when configuring a CMIS Connection. The first step is to select a Binding Type, such as SFTP or OneDrive, and the second step is to configure the connection settings for that binding.
